🔴 An absolutely phenomenal display today from the U12’s today. The girls started strongly playing some fantastic football and creating a number of chances including hitting the bar with a wonderful freekick. Millmoor broke the deadlock with a fantastic looping shot from the left side from Sam which bundled into the net! Millmoor continued to battle and defend great throughout coming into half time 1-0 up.

⚫️ The second half started with some pressure from Wednesday but again, Millmoor’s defence and Lucia in goal stood strong and continued to deal with everything that was thrown their way. The girls continued to create chances before around 8 minutes to time leah sent a looping ball forward which beat the keeper before Darcie darted forward and smashed the ball into the net! 2-0.

🔴 Wednesday however, never let their heads drop and continued to battle hard and cause us problems. With 1 minute to go, wednesday managed to pull one back however the millmoor girls continued to battle and saw the game out to come as 2-1 winners and win the cup for the second consecutive season and 3 season out of 4.Congratulations to the Millmoor Juniors U12 on their cup win!
